Did you know that granite can be dyed? Dyed granite can be harmful to persons exposed to it on daily basis.
Dyed granite can consist of toxic chemicals such as; charcoal, linseed oil and other harmful toxins.
In most cases dyed granite usually comes in dark colors like black or grey.
If you are shopping for granite make sure to always test your granite before installing.
You can do that by simply taking a white rag and some acetone based nail polish remover and rub it in.
Granite that has not been dyed should not react. Once you have rubbed the acetone onto the granite check the white rag.
If the rag has black stains then it was dyed. Our granite is 100% natural and sold at a great price.
