Warehouse Worker

Location: Oakland
Job Description
  • Manage and oversee the warehouse operations of the store
  • Read customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to assemble customer orders from stock and place order on pallet or shelves.
  • Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves
  • Complete all paperwork pertaining to inventory, which includes shipping confirmations, receiving confirmations, purchase orders, open orders, order check-off, and UPS.
  • Ensure complete accuracy of store inventory at all times.
  • Label all orders and back stock clearly.
  • Load and unload customer vehicles; ensure proper paperwork is completed and signed off by the customer after loading of product
  • Process incoming freight trucks in a timely manner.
  • Proper use of equipment, including but not limited to forklifts, to move inventory.
  • Keep Warehouse clean and organized
  • Inspect equipment to maintain good working order.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Must have 3 plus years of Warehouse experience
  • Must have 1 plus years of Warehouse Management Experience (overseeing a warehouse)
  • Must have 2 years of inventory experience
  • Must have strong computer experience
  • Prior supervisory / Management experience (if they will have a staff of 1 or more)
  • Ability to manually move and lift 50lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs.

Ideal candidate are required to have experience in:
  • Kitchen design with proficiency in 20-20 Design software (required)
  • Bathroom design (preferred)
  • Decorative plumbing (preferred)
  • Appliances, tile, countertop, and fixture selection (preferred)
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Relationship building and closing skills are crucial
  • Local trade experience with the ability to bring in your current book of business will be an advantage
  • Ability to work a retail schedule. Our showroom will be open Monday through Saturday with normal operating hours of 9:30am-5:30pm
  • Designing and selling kitchen and bathroom cabinets
  • Use 20/20 design software to create initial design solutions for clients
  • Help guide customers through product selections
  • Secure all customer sign offs on the sales orders and payments

Part Time or Full time positions
Must be available to work on Saturdays Our showroom will be open Monday through Saturday with normal operating hours of 9:30am-5:30pm

  • General computer knowledge (MS Office, E-mails, internet searching etc)
  • Answering phones
  • Greeting guests as they arrive at the dealership
  • Answering guests' questions
  • Directing guests to appropriate locations
  • Assist customers in scheduling design appointments
Staff Sale Support
  • Checking order and delivery status
  • Phoning customers for product pickups
  • Updating showroom signs and tags
  • Monitor, organize, and maintain showroom samples, literature
  • Order supplies for showroom
