If you are shopping for granite make sure to always test your granite before installing. You can do that by simply taking a white rag and some acetone based nail polish remover and rub it in. Granite that has not been dyed should not react. Once you have rubbed the acetone onto the granite check the white rag. If the rag has black stains then it was dyed.
